This clip shows the pure power of tornado`s! I have never seen one myself here in the uk but we have the highest number of tornado`s touchdowns per year than the usa!
Hard to believe i know but the stats are taken from actual touchdowns counted per square mile of landmass.This making the uk the most common place in the world for tornado action!
Luckily most only reach speeds of around 60-80mph which is rated a F1 on the fujita scale.As over in tornado alley in the usa f3 and f4 tornados strike every so often which cause huge damage.
As for the strongest tornado on record (F5) winds can be as strong as 260-320mph.In the very rare cases of f5 touchdowns the pure power is simply unbelievable these twisters have the power to pick up and throw train carrages over a mile!
